Why iGoogle is the best thing ever
iGoogle is the best thing ever.
Sure, it might be really useful as a homepage. I can have all world clocks on there, view my XBL gamercard, see my GMail emails, see what the weather will be like, laugh at today’s Calvin and Hobbes daily comic, and browse the latest news. It doesn’t stop there, either - I can view my calendar, todo notes, and more on the Google Desktop. It all integrates wonderfully and it’s really genius, and useful.
But it’s one thing that makes it worth it. And he’s called JR.

JR.
I don’t normally (ever) call things cute. I don’t. But JR is.
Every hour, he changes. Sometimes he likes to do the hoovering, sometimes (as can be seen above) he likes to battle with a friend. Sometimes he likes to swim, or do the occasional bit of terrorising. Whatever he does, he’s cute. And it’s JR who makes iGoogle great.
If Google made a fluffy version of JR, I’d buy it.
